Technical Team

Debora Morrison

Member and Director of the Foundation and Director of Palma Aquariun Conservation.

Conservationist with more than 25 years of experience in the handling and care of marine animals and in the conservation of the marine environment.

Xisca Pujol

Head of the Balearic Marine Fauna Stranding Network (OCEMIB). Degree in Biology from the University of the Balearic Islands and Veterinary Technical Assistant.


Experience in strandings and recovery of marine fauna (sea turtles and cetaceans) since 2006.

Marco Magazzu

Technician at the Palma Aquarium Foundation. Degree in Biology from the Universitá di Roma, ‘Tor Vergata’ in 2013 and Master in Aquatic Ecology from Queen Mary, University of London in 2014.

Experience in animal care since 2015 with focus on sea turtle care and recovery.

Lluc García

Degree in Biology from the University of Salamanca in 2017, master’s degree in Biology and Biodiversity Conservation in 2018 and master’s degree in Marine Ecology in 2021.

Her work focuses on the rescue and recovery of catalogued marine fauna, the conservation of endangered species and also on dissemination, carrying out different environmental education projects and actions.

Lluc García

Technician at the Palma Aquarium Foundation since 2022.

Degree in Biology from the University of the Balearic Islands (2013-2017). Master in Teacher Training from the University of the Balearic Islands (2018).

Experience in animal care since 2017 with focus on sea turtle care and recovery.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of a non-profit organisation. They are a perfectly coordinated team and without them the organisation would not be able to work.

Palma Aquarium has signed a collaboration agreement with the prestigious Anicura Aragó Veterinary Hospital in Palma.
